Nashville Country Recording Artist and Arizona’s Own, Shari Rowe, to Host CD Release Party at Rustler’s Rooste in Phoenix
Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) May 15, 2015
Shari Rowe, Nashville Country Recording Artist and Glendale, Arizona resident, is set for the release of her CD “Moonshine”, and will host a CD release party at Rustler’s Rooste on May 22nd.
The night will open with a private meet and greet from 7 PM to 8 PM in the Crystal Barn at Rustler’s Rooste (8383 S 48th St, Phoenix, AZ 85044). Doors will then open to the public at 8PM with Rob West performing an acoustic set. Shari and the band take the stage at 8:30 PM.
The band asks that attendees bring non-perishable food items for donations for the St. Mary’s Food Bank throughout the evening.
“Arizona’s rising country sweetheart Shari Rowe is ready to share her latest project with Lamon Records with fans everywhere. She’s been playing gigs steadily, appearing at charity events and along side such acts as Maddie and Tae and Big and Rich. She’s been back and forth to Nashville recording her EP “Moonshine” and filming the music video for her first single of the same name. Her first single with Lamon, and title track “Moonshine,” is the perfect summer party anthem and can be heard nationwide on April 27th. –Lamon Records Nashville”
“Filming the video for ‘Moonshine’ was so fun,” said Shari. “I loved the 1920’s vibe, and the cast was having fun with that, too. It was kind of surreal watching it all unfold. I kept thinking back to when I first started writing the song, and now it’s the first single! Hearing songs develop in the studio is something I always look forward to, but watching this song play out through a storyline- it took on a whole new life!”
The video for “Moonshine” was filmed at Kimbro’s Pickin’ Parlor in Franklin and in Lebanon TN. Lamon Records expects to release the music video on May 26th.
“Moonshine” will be available on iTunes, Amazon, and everywhere music is sold on May 26th, 2015. The title track can be heard on radio stations across the country as of April 27th.
About Shari Rowe:
Country singer-songwriter Shari Rowe has a heart for people, and family is one of her greatest values. Wife to fellow-musician Kevin Rowe and mom to 2 girls, she often performs at charity benefits and church events, and uses her life experiences to let listeners know they’re not alone. She is determined to give back what her biggest musical influences have given her: comfort, inspiration, and encouragement. The Arizona native signed with Lamon Records Nashville in 2014, and is ready to release her new EP and music video.
Born and raised in the southwest to a supportive, hardworking, blue-collar family, Shari began singing in grade school choirs and in church. They didn’t have much while she was growing up. Perhaps, she suspects, that’s what makes her music so relatable, and although she has dabbled in other genres, fans praise her country flare. This natural inclination is where she landed, where she feels most comfortable as a performer, and where she can best express her values in her songwriting. Her influences include Alison Krauss, Carrie Underwood, Martina McBride, and Miranda Lambert. She hopes her music will give others what these artists have given her – “music to do life to.”
“Shari Rowe is real,” says Dave Moody, President of Lamon Records Nashville. “And it shows through her music and songwriting. We were all excited about working with her in the studio!”
Today Shari travels all around Arizona performing with her six-piece band and has built a solid fan base. She is also the 2013 winner of the Independent Music Award for Best Country Song. Whether it’s at a Veteran’s benefit, Relay for Life, Phoenix Children’s Hospital, or a traditional music venue, Shari wants her music to be able to meet the everyday person right where they are. Her shows are high-energy and her songs have a distinct southwestern feel and bluegrass musicality. Her songwriting themes range from love and loss to encouragement, to long summer nights by a campfire.

Notaviva Vineyards Launches Interactive Tasting Room Application
Purcellville, Virginia (PRWEB) May 06, 2015
Notaviva Vineyards, the pioneers of pairing wine with music, is pleased to announce the launch of Notaviva Interactive. This engaging multimedia experience provides visitors a unique opportunity to evaluate a flight of wines, and how well each pairs with various musical selections. The user is guided through a series of video instructions and multimedia exercises, where playlists are presented to accompany each blind wine tasting. The user rates their compatibility on touchscreen devices, and the resulting data set is stored in a cloud-based reporting system.
“This is a revolutionary step forward in winery tasting room experiences,” said Stephen Mackey, CEO and Wine Composer at Notaviva. “Since our launch in 2008 we have been conducting these kinds of wine and music pairing experiences in a live setting for large groups. As owners of a creative agency focused on mobile, web and video technologies, developing this interactive capability for phones and tablets was a natural evolution. Loudoun County’s wine region is adjacent to data center alley and the vibrant Dulles Technology Corridor; our customers embrace emerging technologies as a way of life.”
The pairing of wine and music is fundamentally grounded in a field of cognitive neuroscience known as cross modal sensory perception. Human beings’ ability to taste, smell and enjoy wine is directly impacted by the various forms of stimuli contributed from other senses. It has been shown in university research that various tonalities of music are actually perceived to taste differently. For example, the timbre of brass instruments has been shown to accentuate the acidity in wines, while the timbre of woodwinds makes various tannins more pronounced.
“From a winemaking and marketing perspective, the data sets collected from the application over time will provide valuable insight to guide our production runs and blending techniques,” said Shannon Mackey, CEO of Mesh Omnimedia and co-owner of Notaviva. “For the first time, we will have actionable data illustrating how different demographic groups are impacted by various auditory stimuli. Soon we will be able to provide recommendations to restaurants and other wine retailers, where they indicate which wine styles they are pouring to whom, and we can tell them the most appropriate music to play.”
Notaviva Interactive is available in the tasting room on Sundays during the pilot program throughout May 2015, then during normal business hours beginning in June.

USO Debuts First-Ever Bilingual Every Moment Counts PSA Featuring Sony Music Latin Artists
Arlington, VA (PRWEB) May 06, 2015
The USO debuts its first-ever bilingual public service announcement (PSA) in support of their Every Moment Counts campaign to thank the millions of troops and military families stationed around the world. The 30-second USO PSA, entitled “¡Gracias!,” premiered today in celebration of Military Appreciation Month and will run throughout the year on select television, radio and digital outlets. “¡Gracias!” is also the USO’s first celebrity endorsed bilingual PSA, and features some of today’s hottest Sony Music Latin artists, including Arthur Hanlon, Carlos Vives, Diego Boneta, J Rythm, Kany Garcia, Leslie Grace, Luis Coronel, Maluma, Pedro Capo, Raquel Sofia, Regulo Caro and Yandel, among others.
“Words can’t express how grateful we are to these accomplished artists,” said Juliet Gilliam, USO Vice President of Entertainment Partnerships and Talent Relations. “Our nation is diverse, our military is diverse, and the tastes of our troops and their families are diverse. The USO strives to infuse that diversity into its entertainment programming. This PSA shows our appreciation to all of the amazing men and women who protect our freedoms around the world.”
Among the artists expressing their gratitude and encouraging fans to visit USOmoments.org is actor/singer Diego Boneta – whose uncle, Otto Boneta, is a Colonel in the U.S. Army and is currently serving his 33rd year of service as a doctor. When asked why he took time out to be a part of the USO’s Every Moment Counts PSA, Diego Boneta replied, “This is the very least I can do to thank all the brave men and women serving this nation. It is an absolute honor to lend my support any way that I can.” Taking his support of troops and their families one step further, the star also lent his recently released song, “The Warrior,” to the PSA.
“Our artists touch the lives of millions around the world,” said Jorge Sanchez, Senior Director of Sony Music US Latin. “There is something about music that brings unity, and it is inspiring to see our artists come together in support of the USO and the men and women who dedicate their lives to serve this country.”
The USO encourages the public to watch the new Every Moment Counts PSA “¡Gracias!,” share it online using #USOmoments and join them in thanking our nation’s military community. To check out behind-the-scenes video and photos, or learn more about the artists featured visit http://bit.ly/1JcUEth.

These moments are just a small part of the May “Make A Million Moments” Every Moment Counts celebration, which urges the public to share and capture moments of appreciation for our troops and families during National Military Appreciation Month. The month-long celebration will include a significant lineup of activities – to include the debut of the Every Moment Counts “¡Gracias!” PSA – as well as events led by USO centers, staff volunteers and generous partners.
