@Lukeizsick D minor
@Lukeizsick it’s D minor
@Lukeizsick it’s Dminor
Make ‘em start with TWO notes.
“Don’t let the fact that we’re going to change from one pitch to another pitch assume that that’s gonna do all the work for us”
Very well said.
what the pro
@Lukeizsick you probably discovered what’s the arpeggio used in the video. but if you don’t yet, it’s the Dminor arpeggio started on the 17th fret.
beautifull
i love when u get to the point where u can learn anything on guitar without even having a guitar on you
@Lukeizsick He says at the beginnging “D minor”, which is D, F, and A. He starts on the D (15th fret B string), then F (13th fret E string), then A (17th fret E string). Then he says “add this note too”, which is the A (14th fret G string).
I think he is trying to convey how to turn a lick into a phrase. He takes a typical sweep arp, and then “ends” it. The point about “too many notes”, to me, is that adding more notes doesn’t complete the phrase. It doesn’t give it “resolution.” So instead of searching randomly for more notes to play, focus more on finding the right notes and phrasing to add resolution to to the lick.
@Lukeizsick
d minor arpeggio
Why does that ESP sound like garbage? Just my opinion however…
i want my guitar teacher to be that, in my guitar lesson we only learn to play a song, not to play “the guitar”
